Beauty with a purpose

Flowering plants play a central role in any ecosystem and must be protected at all costs. Flowers offer more to the planet than mere natural artwork and beauty. Here are the various ways in which flowers protect the environment:

  • Create fresh air by absorbing carbon dioxide from the air, filter out toxins and produce oxygen through photosynthesis.
  • Maintain erosion by holding soil in its proper place.
  • Provide food and shelter for birds and animals.
  • Flower scents and colours aid in pollination.

Hence, they are a true gift of nature that must be cherished. As caretakers of this planet it is our supreme duty  not meddle with nature.

Manifest your life like the mighty Oak!

Oak trees are a symbol of strength and endurance. It is often associated with honour, nobility, and wisdom. Just like the oak, we are strong, powerful and capable of facing adversities with fortitude. Thus, the oak tree offers valuable life lessons for us. How does the wildlife benefit from the Oak tree?

Firstly, the acorns from the tree are a source of food for many animals such as deers, squirrels,  chipmunks and ducks. Secondly,  trees offer shade and shelter, leaves and twigs for building nests and even for eating. Finally, they participate in the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide as well as maintain the transportation of water through an ecosystem. Many species of Oaks are under threat of extinction largely due to livestock grazing, land use changes and unsustainable harvesting for timber. As a result, conservation of oak forests is vital to the wellbeing of mother earth and all our products must be sourced from sustainable forests.

"Nature is beautiful in all its chaos"

“It turns out that an eerie type of chaos can lurk just behind a facade of order - and yetdeep inside the chaos lurks an even eerier type of order.” - Douglas Hostadter

"Green calm below and blue quietness above"

A walk with nature is the best way to rejuvenate body, mind and soul.

To those who work in acres, not in hours!

“When tillage begins, other arts follow. The farmers, therefore, are the founders of human civilisation ” – Daniel Webster

Feeding the planet isn’t simplistic , it’s complex & involves a lot of hard work throughout the year

Somewhere along the line have we started to devalue farmers and take them for granted?

Presenting you a few pictures which pay my tribute to  the most important members of our society.
